Pipe of the Year 2025 with Natural Top

Sku: 011-990-0176

Brigham's Pipe of the Year for 2025 commemorates the 50th anniversary of the beaver's official recognition as the National Symbol of Canada. A foundational figure in the nation's history, the beaver — and its prized pelt — played a central role in building the Canadian economy, as fur traders established travel routes and settlements in pursuit of the animal's hide. To honor this noble creature, Brigham has fashioned a design evocative of the beaver's form: a wide, rounded bowl echoes the animal's body; the dark-brown, craggy sandblast recalls its fur; and the pronounced yet elegantly fluid stem mirrors its tail.

The Pipe of the Year 2025 is serialized out of 120 pieces, each accompanied by a striking display case and a custom pewter tamper designed by Brigham and carved and cast by artist A. Oppenheimer. The presentation is completed by a 1975 circulation nickel and four colored stripes historically associated with the fur trade.

Like all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
